In the memory of 9/11 victims, community project phase 2 organized by Congregation Beth Israel brought together Jews, Christians and Muslims together. The evening's mission was to complete hygiene packs for the Good Samaritan Shelter of Corpus Christi. Volunteers sorted variety of hygiene items and later assembled them in hundreds of Ziploc bags. The assembled bags later sorted, boxed and loaded into the Shelter's service vehicle along with the freshly baked cookies.

On September 1st, 2011 IID Corpus Christi hosted an academic forum on "The State of Interfaith Dialog Ten Years After September 11th " at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi (TAMUCC). 

The Institute of Interfaith Dialog Bryan-College Station organizes its monthly get-together on September 30th.
 
At this month's gathering, we will have presentations on "Coffee and Tea Culture Around the World".
 
Tea, baklava and other refreshments will be served.
