The Institute of Interfaith Dialog Lubbock Branch in collaboration Raindrop Turkish House had celebrated early the thanksgiving with neighbors and friends on November 17, 2012. The Institute hosted more than 50 guests from all walks of life including congregation leaders, academics, city officials, neighbors of the Raindrop Center, teachers, students, and members of different faith traditions.

Institute of Interfaith Dialog organized an intercultural trip to Turkey on June 5, 2011. Honory guest from Lubbock experience Turkey's emerging role as a democratic model. The 17th-century Blue Mosque provides a backdrop for the group during a tour of Istanbul. Our guest were Kay Borne, Assistant Director of Fox Tv, Christy Martinez, Latino Lubbock Magazine Publisher, and Terry Fanning.
