The Institute of Interfaith Dialog (IID) Bryan/College Station Chapter organized its fourth Dinner of Abrahamic Traditions program at First Presbyterian Church on Monday, March 26, 2012. The program included a panel discussion on the topic of “Love and Compassion in Our Daily Lives”.

Advancing Interfaith Understanding Dinner: Unitarian Universalist Church

P1030487_1The Institute of Interfaith Dialog organized "Advancing Interfaith Understanding Dinner" with Unitarian Universalist Church on February 16, 2012. Rev. Terri Massengale, Pastor of Unitarian Universalist Church of Brazos Valley, gave a presentation in which she introduced the fundamentals of the Unitarian Universalism followed by a question-and-answer session. A dinner followed where the participants shared a meal and learned more about their neighbors.

IID Monthly Get-Together: Healthy Living Habits

The Institute of Interfaith Dialog Bryan-College Station Chapter organized its monthly get-together on Wednesday, January, 25 2012. At this month's gathering, Dr. Rachel Aaron from Department of Health and Kinesiology gave a presentation titled "Healthy Choices in a New Culture". The event started with a warm up activity that included predicting food calories and a presentation regarding the similarities between organs in a body and vegetables/fruits. Then, our guests enjoyed an informative presentation on healthy living habits. The program was such a great opportunity for our friends to get together and chat over tea and sweets.
