Secretary of State Susan Savage said it was while traveling in Turkey that she was struck by something about Oklahoma."It was while we were in Istanbul, and it struck me how important it is to have a point of contact for international relations," Savage told members of the Governor's Ethnic American Advisory Council during its meeting Friday. "That point of contact in Oklahoma is the Secretary of State's Office."

The Institute of Interfaith Dialog (IID), Oklahoma City office hosted its 6th Luncheon Forum on February 16, 2009 with the participation of about 70 guests. The guest speaker was Congressman Dan Boren (D-OK) who represents Oklahoma's 2nd congressional district.
