Dr.Yetkin Yildirim, Vice President of Institute of Interfaith Dialog spoke about" Understanding Islam". This talk was helpful to eliminate misconceptions about Muslim faith.
Stillwater IID and Interfaith Dialog Student Association of OSU organized a panel on "Violence and Religion" on March 26, Monday, 2007. The panel took place at 8:00 p.m. in Classroom Building Room 313 at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Speakers representing Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Baha'i Faith and Buddhism presented their faith's perspective of "Violence and Religion" which was followed by a question-answer session.
Prophet Abraham is one of the prominent figures in all the divine religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. The role of Prophet Abraham was discussed in a conference with participations of three OU professors from these divine religions on November 28th, 2005. The enlightening talk was greatly appreciated by the students.

In these two dinners we had around more than 100 people. To raise the awareness and the understanding of the others within the society an interfaith and intercultural kind of program is organized.
