PEACEFUL HEROES Conference was held on September 8, 2005 in Tulsa. Lives and works of some heroes presented at the University of Tulsa.

Tim Sullivan from Catholic Diocese of lsa spoke about the life of Dorothy Day.Deacon Sullivan is Executive Director of Catholic Charities Tulsa

Mo Bernstein spoke about great Jewish Scholar and Rabbi Abraham J. Heschel.He is an attorney in private practice here in Tulsa.

Darian De Bolt spoke about Turkish-Muslim scholar Fethullah Gulen.He is currently an Assistant Professor of Humanities and Philosophy at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Birol Ozturk spoke about Nelson Mandela.He is IID Oklahoma Representative and he is doing his Phd at OSU in physics.
