At a crossroad, our world needs an alternative to violence in dealing with problems; and demands the inspiration of these leading figures by examining the stories of women and men whose nonviolent beliefs and actions changed the course of history. They embraced all humanity, and strongly favored belief, justice, and properness. They are the models of love, ardor, and feeling.

The Institute of Interfaith Dialog co-sponsored "Advocates of Peace" conference with Interfaith Dialogue Student Association, Muslim Student Association, DFW Women's Interfaith Dialogue, and Students for Social Justice.
